McDonald's Is Giving Away Free Nuggets This Week
There's no purchase necessary.

How To Get Free McDonald's McNuggets

On Wednesday, May 22, McDonald's is giving away a free 6-piece Chicken McNuggets (plus one packet of dipping sauce—we suggest the Spicy Buffalo!) to customers who order on the McDonald's app. That's the only catch. You have to order through the app, but no other purchase is necessary.

McDonald's tells us that it's just the first of many deals that the Golden Arches has in store for fans this summer, special offers on top of what it says is "McDonald's everyday affordable prices." According to the brand, 90 percent of its franchisees already offer meal bundles for $4 or less.

If you love free chicken nuggets, you may want to think about double dipping this Wednesday. Get your free McDonald's nuggets, then find a nearby Wendy's. It's giving away a free 6-piece chicken nugget every Wednesday with any purchase through Wendy's app.

Wendy's requires a minimum purchase. McDonald's does not require minimum purchase. I guess if you are looking for a deal consistently, Wendy's is better because this McDonald's deal is only for today out of 366 days this year

That's a shame. I was at Panera getting my free sip club drink, Placed my Nugget order and drove 2 miles down the road and my order was right there. I don't eat fast food a lot but it was a nice treat while running errands! Gotta say love reading these posts. People do take fast food a little too seriously.

I have a McDonalds a mile away. Ran there and got me a 6 piece and a cheeseburger. Ran back and knocked out the most of the calories. Worth it.

did 2 pickups. in and out of both places in a minute. guess it depends on the location.

I missed it. That is it for this year if it is similar to last year. It is just 1 per year. It used to be more before Covid. Free sandwich for a minimum purchse of 1 dollar does not count. There is nothing that costs just 1 dollar.

Ordered this leaving work to pick up. Get to MCD, pull into spot and my phone says order cancelled. I try 1 more time on my phone before going inside and asking the cashier if they were out of the nuggets because of this promo. He said no we have nuggets. I said ok, here is my app, why did my order get cancelled? We go back and forth and finally he said you can just try to order again using the screen and a code off my phone. Well the code was already used on my cancelled order. What a waste of time.
