Agreed not really on par with other natural brands
Palm oil is about 50% saturated fat (extremely stable and does not break down into toxic shit), 40% monounsaturated fat (quite stable and rarely breaks down into toxic shit), and only about 10% polyunsaturated fat (PUFA, which easily breaks down into toxic shit that causes heart attacks)
The same people who kept telling you to eat more sugar and more carbs and more industrially refined shit since the 1930s, are the same people who are telling you to that saturated fat is bad and you should eat more Proctor-Gamble PUFA products (which are actually gasoline solvent-extracted toxic shit)

Should be happy it's 90% peanuts, a similar sale a few days ago was only 80% peanuts and 18-20% oils and sugars.

The national peanut board says:
"... for peanut butter to be labeled as peanut butter, it has to contain at least 90% peanuts....natural peanut butters that include peanuts as the only ingredient also meet the criteria and can be labeled as peanut butter. Products that include anything else, like palm oil (which is higher in saturated fat but is not-hydrogenated and is trans fat free) or flavors....may still contain at least 90 percent peanuts and have a similar nutritional profile, but they're outside the standard definition of "peanut butter."
Other sources say:
But probably the main difference between standard and natural peanut butter is that natural PB usually does not have a stabilizer like a hydrogenated oil.
Natural peanut butter generally has nothing but the peanuts themselves and occasionally a little bit of salt.
Natural peanut butter contains just peanuts and salt (and sometimes not even the salt). No fully hydrogenated vegetable oils, no sugar – both of which are found in conventional peanut butters.
