I have not. So as another user said, they may just be aesthetic. I honestly havent needed extra RAM. Runs like a beast straight out of the box.

Have you checked your email spam filters and your credit card? A bunch of people had their cards hold up the charge for a fraud check. Just had to call cc and let them know to approve it v

Got mine delivered on Friday. Been putting it through its paces and loving it. Originally got a $4000 Corsair Vengeance based off the better reviews but it is having some stability issues. I've been playing though Cities Skylines 2, Far Cry 6, and a few other titles and honestly the performance feels not any different. The machine stays mostly silent except an overnight Handbrake CPU transcode got slightly audible fan noise but still rather quiet.

My Alienware Command Center is missing any overclock options. The Fusion tab just lists the CPU, GPU, and memory, with no option to create a profile or modify. Googling said to turn off Memory Integrity from Windows settings->Privacy & Security->Device security->Core isolation. I already had to do that for a logitech keyboard driver. But it hasn't fixed the ACC issue. Does anyone else's overclock settings work? I'm thinking it might be some weird incompatibility with current windows and alienware drivers, that maybe a future update will resolve. But if someone else's same hw specs works fine, it's gotta be something else. I didn't like the 3DMark scores being below average for the same HW, so I was gonna play with the OC settings, but it won't let me.

AMD ram isn't over clockable in ACC and isn't xmp profiled from Alienware. You have to replace it completely if you want to over clock it. Only the 2 slot intel variant is able to be over clocked with ACC.

You can manually attempt to set clock speeds in Ryzen master( need to download) to try and find a stable overlock but that will take some testing and patience.

BIOS 1.13 posted yesterday appears to somewhat improve Modern Standby. For those who are not aware, this machine's BIOS does not support S3 sleep but only supports modern standby, which is where Windows tries to idle with screen off. My R15 came with BIOS 1.11 where in standby it was still drawing over 100W because the GPU was always awake.


In 1.13, the GPU seems to be sleeping and it draws 35-40W during standby. This is still higher than I want but a bunch better.

Thanks but I was least concerned about RAM. I plan on swapping it out for 64 or 128 GB sometime later this year. I contacted Dell's "premium" support, and after going through the same old garbage cs from India, they said that none of the hardware supports OC, and that's why the feature isn't available. I'm dubious of this, and would appreciate if anyone could report if they can overclock anything on their machine(AMD 7950x, rtx 4090).
