Love Toe Jam and Earl. It has this unique early-90s-funk vibe and was one of the only roguelikes of the entire console generation

Trust me, I'm talking from experience
Hard to trust you when you don't elaborate. Do the emulations run poorly? Or are you being vague and unhelpful
No, I mean if you didn't play these as a kid or something similar, you probably will just buy it, and never play it. Which is exactly what happened to me

I had many games for my Sega Game Gear but Streets of Rage 2 was the only one in it 24 / 7.
that's usually the case.
For $6, it probably doesnt even matter. If you play once for 5 minutes, then in a year for an hour, then two more times in your life, you got your moneys worth right?
the bad thing is when you buy $60-70 games based on the hype even though they are not really your kind of game, play for maybe 20 minutes, then dont play them again for the most part. Happened to me with GTA V years ago and Cyberpunk 2077 more recently.

I've bought 10/10 games which I've spent 50+ hours in for only like 3$. Batman Arkham knight alone I bought for 3$ and spent 50 hours in. And then I spend 6$ for Arkham city and Arkham asylum for another 20-30 hrs. And I got them offf of the Xbox digital store.
But I do agree on the 60-70$ games, it sucks when they end up being subpar. A good example is Starfield, it's good, but not 60$ worth good.
Also happened to me with Dark souls, I hated it, Xbox refused refund
