Absolutely does not apply to all nice watches regarding making money. Pretty much only the super high end. Breitling, Tudor, etc all still depreciate from retail. Grand Seiko can find most for half price which is more than any sale, but buy what you like and don't worry about the resale 👌🏾

It's a 35mm btw. Could be considered fashionably small on most male wrists these days.

I've spent roughly $170k on watches in the past 3 years and I browse Slickdeals all the time with a ton of alerts. I like saving money as much as anyone else.

Wow what a slick deal! How could I pass up on this!
You are saying it's a bad deal? seems good if you look at resale or other postings. Buy a cheap watch you'll lose money, buy a nice watch, you'll make money if you take care of it.

Not a bad price for a Breitling but note the small-ish 35mm size (market trend is 40mm or more). The dial color can be politely described as an acquired taste.

I personally don't have any experience with jomashop but there seems to be a lot of hate for them around here. Use your judgment.

Nice looking, but tiny watch. It would be decent as a ladies watch.

I think 2K+ for n ETA-2824 watch is a pretty shitty deal. A Tudor or Omega at that price is a much better buy.

It's a 35mm case...........If this was 38mm or above, I probably would have jumped on it. I bought my BB41 heritage from Joma a few years ago. zero issues.

This isn't true. Especially if you send them off for maintenance. No way this watch appreciates.

Maybe not this watch, but if you bought a $5,000 Rolex 20 years ago, you would have probably quadrupled your money

Buy this watch because you'll keep it for your whole life, but not because it will appreciate. Very few navitimers, or breitlings, appreciate in any kind of amount worth your time. Honestly, that's not a bad thing if you actually like your watch (the only reason you should buy watches), as it means you'll wear it more.
