Received mine today. Small cosmetic flaws but good value nonetheless. Surprised that this case has enough clearance for both my reverse Jackson and Les Paul Special headstock, though I do think the main use is for Fender style guitars. Nice padding, large storage area and not much new case smell. Interior color is pretty eye catching.
A common theme in the reviews is that "this is a lightweight case" and from others that swapped their rugged case for it (for weight reasons) its allegedly lighter than something like Fender's molded TSA cases. A 'lightweight' case made of wood is going to be relatively thin and at this price point not super protective or particularly well-made.
HOWEVER, If I only had $70 and wanted a case for at-home storage?... this would be ok for that. For someone just looking to set their gig bag aside or add a case to an un-cased guitar for at home use/storage, why not. There are a few options in this $100 range, including one from Gator and Roadrunner, but -- are they greatly different from one another? /shrug
DISCLAIMER: I'd shop well upstream of any $100 case if I intended to use it for actual travel/road use.
Will this fit guitars with a Bigsby like the Gretsch G2522T's that were on here recently?
No, this case is for smaller solid guitars. For something like what you got, you need what's either a gretsch case or acoustic case. I have a G5427tg with the bigsby and this is the case I use
