I just received my text that my plan will be going up $5 per line. I checked in my T-Mobile plan options and the new price is already there.

If your are a resident of Texas, T-Mobile cannot raise your rates until April 1st, 2025: https://www.texasattorneygeneral....int-merger

If you get this price hike notification and are a Texan, please file a complaint with the state attorney general's office and an informal FCC complaint citing the settlement between the state of Texas and the merged/new T-Mobile.

There are several other states that also negotiated 5 years of no price increases through various attorney generals and PUCs. However, most states were spineless and only got the 3 year protection agreed to by T-Mobile, Sprint, the FCC, the courts, and the US attorney general on April 1st, 2020... enabling the merger with laughable divestures claiming a 4th new carrier would appear out of thin air.

surprised verizon and att haven't taken advantage of this

Don't worry they will follow eventually.
Remember when apple first stopped giving charger with new phones ?
Samsung followed next year and now almost all the companies are doing the same.

I already left tmobil without any regret after being a grandfather client for 8 years. Got a very good deal from At&t with 25% off the line plan as a teacher. Tmobile doesn't take care of its clients as it used to do. I was hesitant to leave it, but I am telling you shop around and you'll find a good deal. Good luck t-mobile!

I'm also a 2017, One Plus Promo guy and only got a text about my watch line going up $2/month and they confirmed if my phones were it would have been in that text. She looked closer and confirmed it's only my watch. I'm in Utah if that matters.
I'm in Utah too, but I only have phone lines, no watch/tablet lines. Interesting...

TMo never bought Sprint. It was actually the other way around, they just kept the TMo brand because of the negative rep Sprint had. My wife worked at TMo for 18 years and all the TMo people were let go and Spri nt personnel took the jobs.
That's... not remotely true.

As of now, no change on my One 4 line plan with 5 free lines. Have the Plus promo along with employee discount, kickback on all lines, etc and for about a year paying $10 to $20 total.

This made me look at my plan and was paying $8+ for Netflix so downgraded that to standard with crappy ads to bring it down more.

Damn, that's highway robbery, 6 lines for $10-$20/mo total or per line?

I still haven't received a text yet on my SCNA 10GB Family Match Promo plan (5 lines for around $140 / mo)

No for the last year I pay total for 9 lines between 0 to $20 depending on if parents get kickback or not.

As of now, I didn't get the increase yet which would be a $20 increase for the 4 paid lines.

Dropped Netflix to shitty standard with ads to save $8 a month.

I don't mind them raising prices, their cost is going up and we need them since they are providing a service to the community

People love to complain the price is going up but how about getting a job to pay for your expenses

You must be an imbecile to think that complaining about higher prices equates to not having a job. Grow a brain man…
