For camping, it's small enough to transport. Was able to power electric kitchen appliances (water heater, George Foreman type sandwich maker/grill, griddle) with no problems. While the generator is on, also charged a portable battery "generator" which we used to power lights and fans overnight - since the park will not allow generator to be running overnight. We also brought the tiny 6000 btu (unsure) window unit for use during daytime naps as our tent has the port for it, but we never ended up using it..
During Beryl, the generator powered the fridge/freezer, modem/router, tv+ps5, fans during the day - added the small window unit (mentioned above) at night. We used the battery/generator to power the lights/charge phones/fans overnight and charged it using the generator for a few hours during the daytime,
Overall happy with the efficiency of this generator. I think I would get about 10hrs with one tank of gas (about a gallon).

According to multiple websites (one linked below as an example), 12kBTU should be about 3500+ watts. If so, IDK if the 2500w generator will be able to power it.

Even with if the soft start does not stall the engine or trip the breaker, the generator will be working at or close to 100% all the time which will make it inefficient.
In my use case, I was able to run the my small AC and fridge (about 1700w) and still use "eco mode" which lowers the throttle and lessens gas consumption.
