I had this unit for about a week. I wanted to upgrade to the mopping system Vs vacuum only. The mopping wasn't really a good fit for our house since the bedrooms are carpeted. I could just shut the doors, but my young kids are always in and out, and the magnetic strip I put down has still never uncurled from the original packaging.

I thought at the price, it was bound to be better at vacuuming than our existing Eufy that normally retails at $99, but I was wrong. It was somehow worse, to the point of my wife putting both in action at the same time to prove to me that I wasted money. I think she used coffee grounds, and the plain old $99 one did a much better job.

Also, our existing one seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it will take off and do the living room first. Sometimes it starts it's morning in my bedroom. No idea what causes this, but it's kind of nice in a weird way.

This SD unit does not do that. It runs an entire perimeter of your house before it focuses on one room. Not a fan of this at all. Sometimes I just want my living room and kitchen done. This didn't seem possible with this unit- but, I only messed around with the settings for about an hour or two, so who knows.

Overall, not a great experience for me- but a good life lesson that more expensive doesn't always mean better.

Mine has fun riding on top of one of these while still small. They might start being afraid of it around 1yo which works out as a great motivator to make em his their toys

I just tell the kids to not make a game of jumping over the vacuum when it's working. They still do it but they haven't stomped on it, yet.

I have toddlers but I just run mine at night, 2am. House is cleaned when I wake up. Easy peasy, no concerns of noise. Just pick up before you go to bed.

Seems like a shortage of aftermarket parts.
Bought a roborock from a eBay SD last March and filters brush rollers etc are cheap and easy to find.

I bought one brand new and if I could do it over I'd try another brand. The battery in ours keeps going bad, while they did replace the first one under warranty it didn't take long to go bad (less than 6 months) and replacement batteries cost $50 or more online.
The mop while it worked wasn't that impressive and I found it to be annoying more than helpful honestly.
The laser (circle thing on the top) catches the bottom of our couch so it can't clean under them while the models without that could.
The battery issue really soured me, and now I just saw the battery burn pics on amazon I'm thinking I need to replace this unit with something else before I get a extra toasty robo vac...

I'd suggest getting a wyze robot vacuum. They are routinely the same price if not lower, has similar performance and has lidar. Unless you need the mopping function which is sub par from reviews, go with a wyze.

Be careful. I bought Eufy 35C from the earlier slickDeal at Walmart. But after a few attempts to make it work, wasting time; I returned it to Walmart. It was DOA. I put a new battery. Still DOA.

I had one from diff vendor. worked great till had kids. Does not work with kids (at least not my kids) trying to destroy it while it's trying to work.
