I wonder what the phenomena is called when you click on a link in Slickdeals, and the page reopens in a new tab for a microsecond, only to be immediately rescinded and you are back on the original page that you clicked on?

I changed web browsers from Firefox to Chrome and it made no difference. It's a recent thing, and I find myself using the website less because of this.

Absolutely perfect timing as my 520 just failed. The coupon worked for me on the 840. I was going to use the Garmin out-of-warranty exchange program to get 20% off the non-solar for $359.99, but for $15 more, I'll bite for the solar gimmick.

It looks like the 840 Solar was removed. Just the 540 Solar is left for $299.
