Not much of a deal when i can buy individually sleeved booster from reputable sites for 2.50 ish a piece. Even cheaper if I buy ETB or booster box. IMO
Link to Temporal Forces ETB for $22 or less please since you're definitely not lying.

what's the best way to start collecting Pokemon cards?
I just bought a 250 pack on Amazon for my 8 year old. Cost $13. Mind you I know nothing about Pokémon. Just wanted a cost effective way of getting a bunch of cards.

If you want bulk common cards that aren't worth anything, eBay is probably great. just be fully aware you're buying picked over cards- not some random/chance grab bag.
Unfortunately depending on age group, many kids are more value-savvy than gameplay savvy. It's all about the rarity and what it's worth. More kids "collect" than play. And the gambling aspect of ripping packs :/
if your kid is into a particular character, go on eBay and buy some medium rare cards they'll like. what would feel like a big win when opening a pack is probably only worth $5 or so.

We're writing out the pokemon names and pokedex numbers for each pokemon to practice letters and numbers. She has a binder that she's holding her pokemon cards in.
We just grabbed a 1000 card binder and are going to attempt a pokedex. I don't think it'll complete, but hey, sometimes it's just about the journey
