Samsung Galaxy S24 128GB (Unlocked) Onyx Black SM-S921UZKAXAA - Best Buy $625

You have to activate with ATT or VZW. If you want to do this entirely online you will need to port in a throwaway number which you can get for cheap from google voice/tello. Itherwise, you will have to go to a store.

Once you receive the phone you can cancel the account. ATT buyers remorse policy is 3 days to refund $35 activation fee and 14 days to cancel the line. Not as slick as $549 before but still a decent price.

s24 plus from 699
s24 ultra from 949

The phones come unlocked so it can be used with any SIM right away.

I just reluctantly bought the s24 ultra 1TB ( no SD card wtf ) and am coming from my Note 20 Ultra.

The note20 is way better imo. Has more ram, has way better display. The s24 display is extremely dull. It's like you are watching Soviet area television. The note20 also feels faster. It's also way lighter. I miss my old phone, but samsung nuked it with the last update and it no longer works. I really miss the sd card, but we are slaves to the companies unfortunately.

I am on Verizon grandfathered in a good plan and don't want to alter my current plan.

Can I still take advantage of this deal to just get the phone? Or do they require a new line or upgrade of the plan?

You can get the phone with a new ATT/VZW account and then cancel it. If you have an existing VZW account I recommend going for ATT

Is ATT going to charge me an activation fee or any other Fee before I cancel it in 14 days?

Trying to see if going through all that trouble to save $100 is going to be worth it

Cancel within 3 days to refund activation fee, 14 days to cancel the account. ATT will send you a bill and you do have to chat with them to get the charges dropped so that effort is needed to save $100

The trouble for cancelling an account and getting the charges dropped (and unlocking the phone) is enticing for deals like https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/944382 but S24 does not have decent carrier subsidized pricing yet.

Spectrum has a decent deal on them ($500 with a junk trade-in). Locked for 60 days though.

Yes, and if you are in an area that you can't get spectrum, you can't get the deal.

But if you are, their home Internet is reasonable - I've used them for years (but through two acquisitions).

Their mobile service is overpriced, but 60 day unlock, so you don't pay it for very long.

Yeah, they do have really good prices, unfortunately I am not in their coverage map.
