Just wanted to say we've had this thing for 3 years and use it daily. It's outlasted our friend's Breville and even though the air frying is a bit slow, it's even and works well. No complaints.
You mean convection oven. All countertop convection ovens are toasters, not all toasters are convection ovens.
Great item but I have been burned by kohls before. Unless you are a regular kohls shopper the kohls cash to spend later is a waste. I've also had my kohls cash cyber stolen and that was a very involved process to reclaim. They mark their items up and you can usually find a similarly good price if you search hard.

I just returned something to Amazon via Kohls. Can I somehow use that 20% off coupon to make this deal even better?

I love this stupid thing and my massive $800 Wolf toaster oven sounds like a jet when it's running. It can fit a chicken though but we mostly use the foodie

Sometimes a product just rocks and this one does.

Thinking of returning the one from Costco and getting this one. The one from Costco is harder to clean while this one, you can open the back panel and clean the inside easier.
That's nice. Wish mine had that. Might be upgrade time

Never mind. It does and I never knew it. Still love the damn thing. Going on almost two years strong iirc.

It's not an air fryer but I'm not sure why anyone would think it would be of any worth with being so slim.

The air fryer option is great for reheating though.

Had this for more than a year. It does what it advertises but there are some things to know.

1. As you can tell from the photos, it's best for wide, flat foods, and takes up a lot of horizontal space on the counter unless you flip it up Not tall enough to roast a chicken but great for larger pizzas. It also means the trays are bulky so consider that for storage, dishwasher use.

2. That flat form factor means a lot of horizontal area to clean, and it does get messy. After a year ours was all crusty around the door, the window was caked up with polymerized grease and it would smoke when turned to high. Now the bottom does flip open so you can reach about every corner. Most of it wipes out and the tougher polymers I sprayed it down with oven cleaner then scrub it out, and that gets it mostly clean. Also noticed that the oven cleaner took off the lettering on the control panel, so be careful there.

3. I wouldn't consider it in the same performance categories as other air fryers, I'd call it a convection oven at best. Could heat foods but could never really get them browned and crispy. I think that's the fault of the flat cooking area, the fan blows air from the side and it struggles to really hit everything evenly. We got a new taller air-fryer/oven and it's far superior.

Would you mind sharing what new air fryer/oven you upgraded to?

Sure, I looked very closely at 3 models before settling on one.

I looked at the high end Brevilles that get lots of great reviews, but I just couldn't justify the cost. I then looked at these two:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

But decided they were both too large for what we wanted. Online photos can be deceiving, they were both quite large.

In the end went with this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBZZG...ct_details
It's smaller, but we don't need anything bigger, the occasional pizza gets cooked in the main oven, cooks super quickly. and has been easy to clean so far, and has a rotisserie.

I'm buying one as a spare, we use ours that much. The electronics fan is prone to get really loud. I havent found any DIY replacement info, and we use to too much to take it apart for awhile to see if I can replace it myself. Its not the convention fan though, so its still able to be used when it gets loud..

Used this for years until we replaced it with it's bigger brother (DCT451). Gave one as a gift that gets used all the time. Haven't used the main oven for much at all since. If you use the air fry function primarily to reheat leftovers or do a final crisp on a pizza, you won't be disappointed.

After getting the bigger version, I realized that this smaller oven does have the advantage of a really fast preheat time. I could usually ignore preheating instructions altogether when making pizza, brownies etc. There is value in that walkaway convenience. The finished cooking chime is pretty audible and cheerful.

Thanks! I also see that the one you linked is currently priced $130 but also has a $15 coupon available

Went with the Emeril Lagasse French Door Air Fryer 360 for $135
https://www.kohls.com/product/prd...d=67161699

I had been eyeballing it on amazon for a while, waiting for a better price. I had a toaster with a rotisserie 15 years ago and loved it, so hoping this one works out also.
