This has a very specific use, namely outdoor dining, which doesn't happen very often, therefore luxury. And yes, nearly $19 for a bowl is also luxury. I can buy a complete set of bowls with lids for that price. Sure, they won't be insulating stainless steel with a temperature controlled rubber outer coating, but they serve the same purpose.

I want to bite but not enough of a discount. I'll wait until they are 50% off. Kind of a luxury item that wouldn't get used much, anyway.

I mean, yes $20 is a lot for a bowl, but what's stopping you from using it for indoor dinning? I use mine for noodle soup or ice cream at home all the time.

Agree. I use it for ice cream and snow cone. Less melting less mess.

There is a company who makes insulated stainless steel bowls that are microwavable. I forgot the name of the one I have but I've put it in the microwave. If I can remember I'll update the post

Context is a thing? $18 is not a luxury car. It's a luxury bowl.

What exactly is the purpose anyway for this 1 QT outdoor kitchen bowl? What would I need it for over any other bowl? There are indoor only rated bowls?
