2. Water gets inside the lid when you place it in dishwasher
3. Suction cup under the base is removed and it slids everywhere when you run it
Better go for some other brand who are still serious about making decent blenders
Point #2, I agree - there are holes that water can get in. I handwash only

Out of the listed issues above, the only one I can relate to is the water going into the lid. Some shaking gets it out, though.
A few other minor gripes I've had:
- It's not the easiest to clean the inside of the socket in the blade that attaches to the blender. Food debris often accumulates there.
- I do a lot of açaí bowls, in which you need to blend the frozen açaí to almost an ice cream consistency without making of too liquidy. This blender does better than any other blender I've owned, but sometimes some frozen pieces "hide" in the corners, requiring me to manually stir everything and then blend again for a few more seconds if I don't want frozen chunks. I still need to try a much more expensive vitamix.
- Each program, including the manual options, only runs for one minute. You might need to start it again for some tougher jobs.
Despite these minor gripes, I wholeheartedly recommend this product. At this price point, it's really killer.
The ninja was decent at blending but it was loud AF. I wasn't a fan of the center blade. I hated cleaning it. Always felt like I was going to cut myself on the thing by overlooking it grabbing stuff out of the dishwasher. I also didn't like that you couldn't really pour from the container with the lid off since the blade will fall out. Sometimes the stuff was too think to pour out of the flip top on the lid. You also can't blend with the lid off.
The Vitamix is easy to clean and does a great job. Higher speed blending and isn't as loud. It was also $275 so obviously way more than this blender. We use it pretty much everyday though so it's a worthwhile investment for us.

Well for this price it is worth it. It does the job which is most important thing.
I just did this as well. Thanks for the idea.
