I ordered a wedge from these guys a few weeks ago from a deal posted here and they didn't ship it out for 6 days so I finally emailed them, was told they will ship it out immediately. The next day I get an email from them saying that they don't have the wedge I ordered anymore and apparently sold it out from under me and refunded me my money. Was really not happy.

Don't do it. Unless you're a scratch golfer, the sweet spot on any Mizuno driver is smaller than a dime. Even if you're a recreational golfer, get a serious, forgiving driver like a Taylor Made or Callaway. I wasted three decades of my life playing with the wrong brand. Now, I don't hit the ball OB, and nearly 100% of my drives are playable (fairway or just off). I'm a 10 handicap, btw.

9° loft is the only loft option.

Something kind of weird about Maple Hill is that they'll pull the stock shafts and offer pulls from other drivers. Example is that the ST-G 220 didn't have the RDX blue as stock, but instead had the black which is the more popular option.

Anyway, still a good deal.

I bought a set of irons and the Mizuno STX driver (with the exact X Stiff shaft I wanted) within the past month from Maple Hill. Both arrived within 2-3 days after ordering. So no need to pay up for the 2 day deliver IMO.

Think costco may have been selling this driver for a while. Can't remember exactly how much but think they had it for around $200.

Either way, solid deal for anyone playing an older driver and looking for a cheap upgrade.

Bought the ST X to upgrade my old Taylor Made driver when it was on sale last year from here and has been a massive game changer. Barely ever miss a drive now and used to use irons off the tee because I would either go too far right or left. Highly recommend.

Would this be a sidegrade or upgrade to the Epic Flash driver? Solid price on this regardless.

I see there are 3 versions for the same price: Z, X, G. Though not sure what is best or different

Epic flash SZ is one of the best drivers ever. Don't do it unless you are fit into something giving you better numbers. I was very sad when my SZ head broke

newest one is st-g 440. Excessively more obviously, but seems to be reviewed significantly better.

Was it the Bettinardi deal?? I wondered if that was too good to be true…

Z - for lower handicap players with the weight in the back. neutral bias driver
X - draw bias with weight on the heel. for those who has a tendency to slice
G - adjustable weight configuration for draw, fade and neutral with low spin rate and lower loft at 9 degrees. if the loft is adjusted higher then the face will be slightly closed.
