Nice new laptop from Lenovo at a decent price. Model is Slim 7 14IMH9. If interested, be sure to join Staples Rewards before purchasing. Once you're a Rewards member, be sure to activate the 5,000 rewards bonus ($25) with pc purchase
BEFORE ORDERING.

Screen resolution is standard FHD Plus (1920 x 1200) but this is a 400 nit OLED display and there are quad speakers to boot. Yes, there are usually better deals at Costco but this is pretty decent from Staples.

Temping deal, I have a very similar Lenovo i7-1355 that I am very happy with.
BTW, reddit told me to think Lenovo hinges killed the dinosaurs

You weren't nitpicking at all lol.
BTW, would you rather have a 400 nit 2.8k by 1.8k IPS screen or a 1.92k by 1.2k 400 nit OLED screen?
Costco just put last year's model on sale for $699 with the former screen and a 1TB hard drive.

I can easily return the Staples model as it hasn't even shipped yet. Thing is I had a crazy amount of rewards ($400) that I used toward the purchase. Nothing else I need from Staples in the near future.
