As opposed to the false wireless earbuds?
I have had the JBL Vibe 100TS and it's been nothing short of impressive for such a small price tag (I think I paid like $25 a few years ago and I've gotten some incredible milage on them). Aside from no noise-cancelling, the only complaint I really had with the 100TS is the voice quality for making calls is bad. Basically, enough people have complained that I don't use it for calls what-so-ever. Figure $40 might be worth it after 2-3 years to get noise cancelling + better calls. But only if they have better calls, don't mind too much about noise cancelling.
