It's a full-size keyboard. If the number pad is super critical to you, then it's certainly possible, but a bit unwieldy IMO. You'd have to put it into your check-in bag or something.
Personally I would just get a stand-alone number pad and a smaller keyboard (like a K380) if needed for travel.
This one is an excellent workhorse for home or office though. One thing of note: it's pretty silent and there is no tactile feedback on this one (for the clicky fanatics out of there).
