I'd buy this if the sides dropped down, with our small deck it takes up too much space when not in use. I like that it's natural gas, no more having to lug a Propane tank around!

Imagine you have two different types of gas stoves in your kitchen. One uses natural gas, and the other uses propane gas. Both stoves can cook your food, but they have some differences.

Natural Gas:
- Natural gas comes from deep underground, and it's made up of mostly methane.
- It's delivered to houses and buildings through pipes, just like the water that comes out of your faucet.
- If your house has a natural gas connection, you can use a natural gas grill.
- Natural gas is usually less expensive than propane.

Propane:
- Propane is made from oil and natural gas.
- It's stored in special tanks that you can buy at a store and attach to your grill.
- Propane grills are more common because not all houses have natural gas connections.
- Propane tanks are portable, so you can move your grill around easily.

The main difference is how the gas gets to your grill. Natural gas comes from pipes connected to your house, while propane comes in tanks that you attach to your grill.

Both natural gas and propane grills cook food the same way. They have burners that light up and heat the grill's surface, which cooks your food. Some people might prefer the taste of food cooked on one type of grill over the other, but the difference is usually very small.

Had a Dyna-Glo about 7 years ago, within 2-3 years completely rusted out. My 4+ year old Weber is in perfect condition, not a spec of rust.

Check out the Dyna-Glo, they are made out of flimsy metal. How long do you think that will last?

That said, if you have a large propane tank for your house it's pretty simple to have your propane company run a line to your grill, so then it works like a plumbed in NG grill

Sincerely appreciate you taking the time to explain - I learned a lot of useful information I did not know before (and I'm in my 40's - kudos)

Thank you for this info. I am looking for a deal on a natural gas grill, but I guess I will keep looking. Any good experiences with any?

All these cheap grills are made this way for a reason, at least i think that way. Just get a hang of grill( like a practice) and once you do, get a reliable grill like weber.
