Don't make the same mistake with these that I did. If Funimation or any of the other Anime companies that these shows are licensed to suddenly loses the license, they remove them from your library, even though you paid for them. So, if you buy something, watch it as soon as you can. I made the mistake of sitting on a few shows, thinking that they would always be available for me to watch, and now they are gone, and I am out the money that I paid for them. You're much better off buying a Crunchyroll subscription for a year for like $59.99, and getting access to all of these shows and more with no commercials.
This is why I setup a Plex server at home. When I buy something, I download an offline digital copy and add it to Plex so I have access even if the studios pull this BS.
Give me back my 007 movies!

Be sure to remember to look beyond the anime titles beginning with "B" on the Microsoft Store site for a ton of similar bargains during sales such as this. By the way, running an HDMI cable from my computer to my living room TV and using a wireless keyboard and mouse, I can watch shows purchased from Microsoft just as easily as on other on-board TV boxes. For that reason, I don't hesitate to get in on these bargains. (Microsoft is part of the Movies Anywhere service, but it doesn't cover TV shows. This fixes that problem, at least for me.) I hope this helps some of you readers!

Microsoft participates in Movies Anywhere but it doesn't mean much beyond supporting the connection of other retailers and purchasing some titles that MA compatible.
Anime films in general don't participate in Movies Anywhere, so you'd likely be stuck using a computer or Xbox to view content like you mentioned. Just something to keep in mind as you look through the titles.

I don't think that's accurate. I've never had any removed from my library, some just no longer are allowed to be sold but still appear in my microsoft or vudu library after I purchased them

There are at least a few that are gone that I had purchased before. It's not a huge number, but it's enough to be noticable. Like Konosuba is gone from my account, even though I bought it around the time that the first season had just finished airing. The only Konosuba related things left, are the spinoff shows that had characters in them, like the Isekai Quartet show, and that new prequel series about the witch that can only cast Explosion.
I also just noticed that both seasons of Squid Girl are also gone from my Xbox.
TV shows have disappeared, but the studios haven't been daft enough to do that with movies. Yet. Not saying it won't happen, but just hasn't happened yet with movies.

Check your emails for the receipts. I have a few titles that don't appear because they were purchased in another region while I was living abroad, but if they did take them without notice, you may be able to get refunded

Unfortunately it doesn't look like they will let me refund anything after three months of having purchased it. That includes games, movies, TV shows, or anything else.
