Weird as I too don't have the S &S option. I do though have the $1.00 off. Showing $2.99 less the buck. I also searched and it came up $5.49 with a 25% coupon and two for $6.00. Either way, I passed.

My grandmother loves the original Ritz but has heart problems so we try not to buy her the original due to the sodium content. How do these compare to the original? Would like to hear from people who love the original but changed to this. I'm assuming they slightly changed the recipe to make up for the less salt, more butter? or is it simply not as good?

tastes a little sweetish, so you do need a bit more salt--> add dip/cheese

I'm on a medical diet and use these. As previous person posted, with less salt the sweetness comes out a bit more. But, you can still taste the "hint of salt".

I switched to potassium chloride instead of salt (sodium chloride) and could not be happier. I tried every salt substitute out there. It keeps up potassium levels (which most people lack) and to me tastes just like salt (you just use less). "NoSalt" brand is made from this but tastes different to me. I just buy 2lb bags off Amazon for about $12. Some people are supposed to stay away from potassium, usually for kidney reasons, so best to check with a doc first.
