Didn't know about the brand, got excited, checked out several of their products only to see extreme gaps in reviews, huge amount of insanely (suspiciously) good 5/5s and a bucket of 1/1s with very specific experiences.... I'm sorry but as mentioned by OP themselves, sounds like over marketed pushed low quality massware ATM, thanks but pass.

I would actually try their detachable cookware products though, but already have a few unopened sets of Tfal. Maybe I'll try and offload them as house warming gifts then finally try the Carotes

Dont be fooled by the $200 "original" msrp. Amazon has these on sale right now for $50 down from the original msrp of $79.99. This definitely isn't a $200 knife set.

Agree with this...got rust spots on a bunch of knives (including on some medium priced ones)...now only hand wash them

I bought this set a month ago. It's holding up well. Very sharp out of the box. Looks good on my counter. I already recommended to my recently married brother and wife. I would buy again. 🔪

I bought these the last time they were on sale (one or two months ago) and I returned them. All of the knives rusted in a very specific spot. I loved them but it was just annoying having to scrap that spot in almost all of them. They do look great and are very sharp, so you can always buy and see if you're one of the lucky ones that don't rust.

I would say, the issue involving rust, comes down to drying the knives out completely before putting them back into the woodblock.
