Picked one up for the future since they don't last forever. Thanks.

Got this a few weeks ago when it dropped to 40.97. I have an old Weber Genesis silver B. This cover is a snug fit on that grill and the Velcro barely has enough overlap to secure, although I'm not sure it needs much securing given the tight fit. Material seems high quality.

Makes sense! New Spirit is basically Old Genesis, minus the quality and longevity Wink

If you miss this deal, I recommend Kong covers — good quality and nice fit. I'm not putting another dime into Weber's pockets, though. It's been a decent grill for 7-8 years, but so much rust and body warpage…and the covers all tend to hold condensation underneath. Lesser of two evils, I guess.

How is this product any better than a $15 cover purchased from Amazon? They need to be discarded every few years no matter what.

I just put mine on and was surprised at how light weight the material felt. You can tell its not a bespoke fit either. Not that I need it to be perfect but its a bit shapeless compared to the original cover.

Agree - I've purchased the Weber brand and it did not last 2 years.
These regularly go on sale for under $20 and hold up much better:

I agree the weber covers are not worth their retail price but for $37 this is a good deal.

The problem with the one you linked is there are no Velcro straps to secure it. The wind will catch underneath and lift the cover off and send it flying into the neighbor's yard. So you have to use some ghetto bungee cords to secure it.

The Kong covers are higher quality than the Weber covers. I've got them on all 4 of my Weber's.

Bought this King Kong cover Oct 2019 and she's still holding up perfectly. In full unprotected sun and snow every day.

I paid $39 back in 2019.

Check your warranty!

I was able to get the burner kit and lid assembly replaced because my grill was still under warranty. Never hurts to check. Weber customer service was easy to work with.

+1 for KingKong grill covers. I've had mine for 4 years and it looks like it'll last for many more. It's cheaper than this and the other Weber covers too.
