This is one of the worst type of power banks ever made. The amount of pressure/stress you will put on your iPhone's port. There are other brands that make the same type and they are all terribly designed. Would recommend go with a different design.

That's what we call an "inside your head" thought. There was never a need to tell anyone that.

Meh if they made it tougher then if it got dropped it may break your phones lightning port which is worse

Lol, I have the USB C version of this and would easily buy another or two. It's super handy to connect a short USB C cable and charge all the things. If you're at your desk all day and never go outside you don't need this. So handy to just toss this at a device or to someone else to save their day. I have many other powerbanks up to the $1,000 power stations and this little thing still has a place.

Today we had a 12 hours power outage. Made me realized how bad iPhones battery life are. I was looking all over the house for a power bank that I hardly use because I was down to 15% within 4 hours of normal using surfing the internet.
Got to invest in a battery extension case.

How do you connect a cable? Did you have to buy a seperate weird/unique USB-C Female to USB-C Male cable? I don't think we can use a standard USB-C cable on the side USB-C port to recharge a target device. The USB-C port is for input/charging only I think.

Lmk, cause I'd like a powerbank this size that would work with normal USB-C cables, I just don't want to use the flip out connector on my device, nor need a separate unique $10 cable just for the device.

Wanna get it for IPhone 13 PM but probably not a good idea since I am planning on upgrading to the newer version this year
I plan to upgrade if the 16 has the exponentially better AI the analysts are saying it will —however this device is only $12 and the iPhone 16 may not meet expectations on AI —and may be delayed because of screen upgrades —so what the heck —it's only $12– that's less than all of the inexplicable charges on your cell bill each month.

Biggest issue with these is they don't fit using a lot of cases especially one where the screen protector is built into the case.

I dont want to hijack this thread with a somewhat generic/unreleated question but if I bought one of these, charged it all the way up and then threw it in my trunk, how long would the charge last? a year from now, would it charge up my phone enough to make an emergency call or something like that?
If it's too hot or cold, a year from now it could blow up. Idk that I would leave it in a car

I have one of these and I don't know what voodoo Anker did but it charges my phone faster than any other device I own, including a wall charger. It's so fast, I sometimes plug this in to charge my phone until the power back is drained - recharge it - then top up my phone to 100% and it's still faster than plugging it into the wall.

I have one, not Anker but some other brand from Amzn that I got as a gift in 2021 - https://a.co/d/9tfAG8K. No issues with the lightning connector nor the port. It can be charged with USB-C or the lightning cable (input), or as output on the lightning or USB-C, pretty versatile. I am assuming this Anker would be better than the one I have. Highly recommended, especially to the ones that have weak battery and find replacing with the original Apple battery as non-worthwhile.

There is no cable resistance involved and as a result......

Where's the USB Type-C version of this that's compatible with most devices and not just Apple phones that contribute to an excess of ewaste because these accessories are not compatible with other devices and more importantly the new Apple iPhone and devices that use USB type-C now

Someone else might see a comment like that and realize "oh yeah, so am I, I forgot the new model is USB C not lightning, I should pass too"
