I'm on my second pair of these after originally trying out the rather limited selection of tennis shoes in Dick's. These run "true to size", which is important knowledge when trying to save $$ by buying footwear online. They last me a good year playing Pickleball ~3x per week. I may pick up another pair now (last pair were $50 from Tennis Warehouse).

Agreed, I looked at the website and it says nothing about tennis shoes or Pickleball. The only thing that it mentions are that they are great on the court, which sounds like a basketball court.
"The upper has been constructed with Durawrap X for excellent support and drag protection while keeping a flexible feel as you sprint around the court."
As far as footwear goes, it's the exact same. No need to differentiate.
Hard court tennis = pickleball.
Durability matters more in tennis, since the court is larger and you're generally taking bigger swings, more movement, more toe dragging and sliding. The one exception is if you're playing high level pickleball singles. But 99% of pickleball is doubles.
in hindsight...not such a slickdeal. Wore them 2x/week for 8 weeks and the soles have already worn out. Beyond the k-swiss 30 day satisfaction guarantee for return/exchange. So lesson learned. Pay more and get better quality....
THIS is probably the reason why it was on sale for a third of the retail price. Closing out the inventory on a run of low quality footwear

What else are you considering? There seems to be nothing solid unless spending 100$+

Luckily I double checked.
Odd and shifty approach from Kswiss or their admins.

I was able to get one before the deal expired before the end of the day
