I recently let my premium expire. 130$ was a crazy price to subscribe, and you won't even own the games. I started buying used and game deals.

I didn't purchase any bundles. Two separate orders under two separate PlayStation accounts so that I could get two Netflix credits applied to my Netflix account. One order was for PS5 disc slim, second order was for VR2.

i've never had ps plus and the other dat the year of essential showed up as $64 once i signed in. today i go to buy it and its showing full price, wtf? and i can't find a way to chat with any support. any ideas?

This was what I was thinking, because mine was going to expire last Friday. Somehow I was able to immediately buy a year at the $63 price so YMMV

Can you purchase both in 1 Playstation account and qualify for Netflix codes or do you have to have 2 accounts? Did you use the same name, shipping address and credit card to purchase the VR?

needs to be separate sony account both with ps plus essential monthly sub for $10/ea. Waited a few hours.
I ordered 2 ps5 disc on 2 separate account, 2 different cards, but same shipping and same billing address and got 2 links.
I don't yet know if 2 Sony Netflix promo links can be applied to a single Netflix account.

Good. I was looking at 20% discount on Essential. Looks like you're looking at an upgrade. Maybe they extended the date to align with the Netflix promo, or maybe upgrades are different from subs?

$23/mo is for the premium with 4K streaming. I've been using the $15.50/mo plan which limits me to 1080P streaming but on an 82" TV, 1080P still looks damn good enough for me.

It can for sure. I did pretty much the same thing... two Sony Playstation accounts using two different email addresses and credit cards, each with their own PS Plus (one I signed up for 1 year Premium, the other for 1 month Essential). On one account I ordered PS5 disc, the other VR2.
Both Netflix links were emailed to me from these two purchases and, logged into my Netflix account, the redemption link applied credits to my one Netflix account. On my $15.50/mo Netflix plan, here's what my Netflix Manage account shows:

$551.76 Netflix credit
This is estimated to get you through June 20, 2027 at your current plan price.

That's 3 years of Netflix paid for by Sony PlayStation on my $15.50/mo plan from purchasing a PS5 and VR2. Phenomenal deal! It's like getting a new PS5 Disc + VR2 for under $350 before tax ($900 - $551.76). That's way less than buying an Oculus Quest 3!

Got the email with the Netflix redemption link less than 2 days after I completed the purchase of the PS5; and under 3 days after I completed the purchase of the VR2. The VR2 was ordered on a Friday afternoon and the Netflix email came on Monday morning whereas the PS5 was ordered during the week -- which is likely why that one came earlier.

Both emails with the Netflix links were emailed to me before I actually received the products (i.e. soon after the products shipped).
