The lighting effect would be terrible that far from the edge but it'd respond correctly.
OR
go with any other solution that isn't Philips Hue. The fact that the Play Lightstrip doesn't provide any bottom coverage breaks it for me.
How they haven't developed this product to even slightly compete with better alternatives is beyond me and confusing as to why it's priced too high.
Govee or Lytmi seem like better alternatives...still after so many years
