This movie is so good, highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys movies not just anime fans. It relies a lot on some overused tropes but still the incredible art style, pacing, and suspense keep drawing you in. And then you realize that the overused tropes I mentioned earlier are overused because this movie was such a masterpiece and the OG that inspired multiple generations of Hollywood producers to play homage to it.

Also if you are gonna watch it maybe set aside twice the runtime. I won't spoil how but the very last scene will make you question everything and immediate want to rewatch the whole film to find an explanation.
