Too much bad experience with performance tools! Cheaply made and I won't make the mistake of purchasing anything from them again.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a ratcheting screwdriver? That's one thing I'd like to add to my collection.

There are only 6 reviews for this product on Amazon, including 2 1-star reviews and a 3-star review. I wouldn't call that a lot of good reviews.

The one star reviews point to the ratchet mechanism failing when you need more torque, so the hex hole in the side of the handle seems like a real necessity to use this for anything other than extremely light duty work

LTT screwdriver. Yes it's expensive, but it works so well, even on small screws that don't require much force - it will still ratchet!

You weren't lying: the LTT screwdriver is stupid expensive. Here I thought it'd be like $40 or something, but $70? I know Linus has a following and all that, but come on.

This guy is $7 [amazon.com]and there's several reviews that state it's just as good as the LTT one. Might not be BETTER than the LTT one, but it's literally 1/10th the price, and at the end of the day...it's a screwdriver. Unless you're assembling fighter jets or something with it, I can't image it's worth 10x the cost.

I personally waited for the cheapest one craftsman makes with a folding case with bits. It had an extension built into it and was magnetic. I think I paid $15 for it, something along those lines as far as quality goes and in that price category. I've been using this for the last five years, it's been really solid, I use it around the house, I use it working on cars, I've built several computers with this. Just recently tore apart a weedeater using this

Found it

The real difference between the LTT screwdriver and the one you just mentioned, is fit and finish, the LTT screwdriver is built like a an expensive snap on tool, it has high number of teeth in the ratcheting, compared to a low number. If you have ever used a ratchet wrench with a low number of teeth compared to a high number of teeth you would know the difference.

The cheaper one has a very wobbly shaft, but I bet you could find some thing from Home Depot, craftsman, Lowe's that doesn't have much shaft wobble.

Keep in mind the LTT screwdriver is more of a very fine precision working on electronics types screwdriver, if you're trying to work on furniture or something in your car, I would go somewhere else

Wait when you are 20 years older with a lot of money and not a lot of screws/nuts to turn, $70 will seem a very reasonable price.
