250 Nits / 110% sRGB 85% DCI-P3

Might be dim for some in bright rooms. 1000R is the least curved option out there.

Nice monitor but I unfortunately had to return this last year since it didn't work with my wife's work laptop that had I think Windows 10. MSI didn't have the driver for older windows for this monitor.

monitors don't need drivers to function as monitors, they're PNP.

PNP means it should have a compatible generic driver, but doesn't mean 100% when you deal with newer/older product mismatches, and drivers that overwrite windows defaults (or vice versa).

This actually became a serious problem at some point in windows 10's life cycle when it started automatically downloading and installing specific individual driver updates without asking the user

I've dealt with a bunch of people whose monitors wouldn't work with laptops initially. A lot of computers can fix these problems with (later) windows updates that undo whatever they screwed up, or gpu driver installs

I've seen buggy display port implementations, which would result in failure to communicate available display modes. But that's not a monitor driver issue.

1000R is the MOST curved. The number is the radius in meters of the circle that the curve would complete. A 1000 meter circle will have sharper curves than an 1800 meter circle.
