if you don't cover padding that absorbs water outdoors, of course it's going to get wet and grow mold. that's like saying i left my grill outside without a cover and now it's rusting. it's common sense, but people rather put a 1 star than use common sense.

I live in Phoenix and bought these last year. They are great and hold up well in my experience. I bought covers for the chairs and table when not in use.

I have the padded glider in brown. I kept covered and it still grew mold or some discoloration. It looks so bad my wife wants to get rid of it. I think the white would be worse.

I don't exactly understand why sling chairs need to be padded in the first place. It's not sitting on a hard surface.
