Reddit says stay away from this company if you want long term support.
YouTube reviews (paid/incentivized) says great bike for the price.

I can't see any reason to spend this much on something that can very well become paperweight after about a year of usage. Which is a shame. I would've liked to have gotten a "Slickdeal".
So I bought two of the Austin for $519 for my kids back then. I'm thinking of getting this for myself. They've put over 200 miles on it since and no issues (got 2 flats but thats on my kids).
This one is couple hundred more..but it does have 750w motor/52V 13AH battery vs. 500w/48V 14AH battery on the Austin.
All else seems to be similar--20x3 fat tire, mechanical brakes (ugh), top speed, weight, etc.
Not sure if its worth the $200 if I'm only getting the bigger motor. If they had upgraded the brakes to hydraulics, then maybe its a consideration. But I'll hold off until a better deal comes around...

I am thinking of getting one for long distance (eg. 100 miles) so I will only use the power occasionally when climbing up slopes.
or it make more sense to get a normal bike for long distance

Can't test ride it safely without a fix.
The rear bike rack is wrong. It doesn't fit. They hooked the rack to only the bottom half of the bike and left the top swinging free. The rack's top arm is too short and has a tubular ending instead of flat. Maybe unfinished but painted. That's wrong.
I have to make it work because there is no other spot for the tail/stop light mount. Maybe I can make the rack look right the using abundance of box's zip-ties. But only for looks: it won't carry a load. Maybe mount the light under the seat. It's doable. Right now, don't have a front rack and can't use the back. Well, I'm delayed.
I emailed the problem and a picture to Engwe. Let's see how their customer support is. If problem is solved, I promise to report.
This 'little' 20" bike is tall even with the seat all the way down. I'm 5'7" and I easily fit my big-fat-tire 26" electric bike. At a stop, on this smaller 20" bike, I'm stretching my toes.
Looks good and feels solid. My coworker will be receiving the black one tomorrow and his wife's green one is shipping.

I have the rear rack zip-tied. It won't bang on the metal rear fender anymore. I got to take a 30-minute sunset cruise.
Noticeable motor sounds. Not obnoxious. Higher 52V motor for more push & generous 75Nm torque. Motorr spinning less unsprung weight: 20" tires with thinner 3.0" tires mounted on spoke rims. Heavy stuff down low and in the middle. Great combination. This bike is quick off the line and nimble. I have to remember to let go of the throttle at 20mph then pedal for higher speeds. The bell is a dud. And I have to remember that this is a step-through bike.
Either way; if Engwe contacts me, or not, about my odd rear rack, I'll tell.

Update to my bike's rear rack not fitting.
Initially, getting the runaround. Looks like I'm getting a canned response.

Receiving the video at midnight, at 6 in the morning. It shows the rack zip-tied at a weird angle and falling far short of the mounts. In a minute, I got this auto-reply:

Definitely a canned response. I wish they had told me about their holiday. Nobody is working? I'm stuck. Today is the 7th. I have to guess that I won't be hearing from them until at least the 12th.

Well, the rack looks silly. It looks like it's falling off. Too bad. It really is a nice looking and snappy bike.
I'll update even if they ignore me and do not reply.
