I'm starting a new WFH with 2x 27in monitors, docked laptop and full KB+mouse. I have a Fit Desk 2.0 now but thinking of re-doing with a standing desk. Any thoughts on if this is a good (enough) one to use 2-3 days a week? What's the downside of a single motor desk?

I think the advantage to dual motor is that it will typically have a higher weight capacity and have a faster lift speed.

I own the EN1 model which is a single motor and it's great for daily use. I have two monitors and two laptops on the desk and it's a smooth lift.

I have a flexispot 2 tier standing desk ordered from amazon over a year ago. I have to say their customer service is excellent.

I order the wrong color and they already processed for shipping by the time i realized and attempted to cancel. They sent me a return label and i called fedex for pick up and they promptly refunded me. Completely my fault and they took care of it anyway.

How did 24 inches become the standard? Pay a bit more and get some counter space. You'll be grateful.

I have a similar glass top Tresanti brand table from Costco. This, I believe, makes me qualified to point out one challenge you'll face with this. You might have a challenge finding a monitor arm which you can clamp without risking the glass. Something to consider.
If you don't mind me asking, how sturdy is the Tresanti?

It's really well built, I'd say. Smooth transition between standing and sitting mode. I rest my legs on the bar at the bottom and use it as support to move my chair. The table doesn't budge at all.

note that glass desktop means nearly no way to use clamping monitor mount/arm

I think this has been discussed but can folks chime in and validate that glass top can't support clamp mounts?

Good to know flexispot's CS is good. This is why I was considering buying from Costco, in case anything goes wrong they will support me.

I managed to clamp the arm on a glass desktop with a workaround. The arm that I used is the LG ergo monitor one. It's been a few months without any issues.

I ordered this, and accidentally pushed it through without the promo code (because that was hard to find on mobile). I reached out and CS responded saying they will refund the difference upon delivery.

My son has the similar costco one, the bar at the bottom is insanely annoying!

Yeah, 24" limits the usability significantly. Insufficient desk space and bad monitor angles make it such a hassle. I regret my decision to buy a 24". Now, I don't even consider anything less than 30".
