I have been eyeing this for a while. My garage ceiling currently has no insulation or drywall - though I plan on doing that in the next year or so. Can anyone comment on how easy or difficult it would be to install this to the existing bare ceiling beams, then remove it at a later date so I can insulate and drywall?

I put up three sets of these in my ceiling in the garage. The biggest difficulty would simply be to remove everything you loaded onto the shelves. Otherwise, it wouldn't be difficult especially if you have two people.

I installed 2 of these just a few days ago in my fully drywalled garage. Took about 4 hours but it was new territory for me and I did it solo.
Went with the lowest hanging height version (24-45in) thinking that I'd need to trim some of the vertical bracket due to the spot in the garage and not wanting to hit my head every day. To my surprise that version comes with a two sets of four vertical brackets for each shelf, so I just didn't bolt them together. Highly recommend buying that version. If you don't need the extra height you get extra parts to repurpose or extend later.
