These are super heavy at 11.2lbs. Without paying extras luggages' are capped at 50lbs each. There isn't much you can put and securely fitted in these large bags. I'm struggling to see if these heavy 25"+ luggage's make sense in today's world.

Hope to see some lightweight ones in the future. There has not been improvements on weights for quite a few years!

Is your clothing made of steel? 50 - 11.2 = 39.8 pounds of luggage which is plenty. Even the lightest suitcases weigh 7 pounds so you are talking about a difference of 4 pounds.

That's what I'm talking about. The industry hasn't done much less than 7lbs, they should!

It's not just clothing we are talking about, laptop, chargers, shoes could easily take another 15 lbs off from it. I'm obviously not minimist when travelling but I'm definitely not alone.

I have seen some airlines are giving 40 lbs for luggage. I was wondering which luggage maker has the best wheels because I have had 3 luggage have broken wheels and am willing to pay a bit more to get durable wheels. I am talking about spinner luggage and not the old style of just 2 wheels.

Unless you're willing to spend $500+, you will not find a 28" spinner for less than 10lb. If you are packing mostly clothes, you will definitely go over the weight limit if you fill up a 28" bag. You may want to consider a 25" instead and use the expansion zipper to add rooms if needed. Alternatively, you can get a 100L duffle bag if you're only packing clothes. They weight like nothing and cost around $30 but don't expect them to last. Well, this bag is ABS, I will pass.

Maybe they need room to carry a couple of frozen turkeys or hams, pounds of grits (I've seen 25+ pounds worth). I've worked as a TSA agent in the past, people stuff an ungodly amount of stuff in their bags lol. They still gotta pay to play lol.

They had like two turkeys, frozen lamb, goat meat and giant cans of vegetables. Many of the people that did this come from other countries. Bags taped up with duct tape, bungie cords. Most of the time bags were over 100+ pounds. The xray images were hilarious

You don't know the kind of stuff people take when they travel to India. I once took Sonos speaker set, as a gift, which took away the entire weight. We take candies, nuts, moisturisers (I know its weird) which easily fills up the weight.

Didn't say anything about lithium batteries. However, I do believe you could bring lithium batteries with a total capacity up to 100 Whr. Link below:
