In CA after July 1, the "service fee" will be illegal. So, they will likely just triple the price of entrées.
Never used it, never will.

GrubHub+ is pretty much useless now a days with 'zero' coupons and discounts and highly inflated (I have seen almost 40%+ more) pricing for the same items in a restaurant compared to in-store pricing. Not to mention, added tips for the drivers.

My Last GrubHub+ order of $62 it said I 'saved' $9.62 with Grubhub+, but there already a 10-30% markup per item than the dine-in/pickup price. And I still had $6.15 of 'other' fees: $4.15 'service' fee and $2 driver benefit fee (this is not the driver tip).

Items: $51.85
Delivery Fee with Prime: $0.00
Other fees with Prime: $6.15
Tax: $5.22
Driver Tip: $2
Total: $65.22

It's all smoke and mirrors. Delivery is free, but there is this other fee, wink wink.

But that's just pizza. Delivery services allow other types of restaurants to offer delivery.
Well, the proliferation of sh*tty services like GrubHub and Uber eats caused my local Chinese and Thai restaurants to get rid of their in house drivers (they were being siphoned by GH etc.). And in LA where I am, they are not the only ones. MANY restaurants, usually Mom and Pops got blindsided by GH etc.
Plus add in the SHADY shizz these platforms do/did/have done, like make dupe webpages for restaurants that actually had order online and paying/appearing in google searches above the actual restaurants! Then charging the restaurants that DID use them a 60% fee? Seriously. Eff these services. Do better.

Get used to higher prices. People love the idea of higher wages but get upset about higher prices.
Or corporations could not pay CEOs multimillion dollar bonuses.

Or stop raising prices to post record profits every freaking year while small to mid-sized businesses can't compete and everyday people struggle to get by because their wage increase was used to justify raising prices well beyond the cost of their wages. Businesses should follow the ups and downs of the economic cycle, in the long run they'd be more valuable overall (staying power & slow but steady increase in stock price/value) or they'd go under which is normal in the business world. Instead we have "corporation XYZLMNOP posted a loss this quarter and its stock price tanked, so they laid off 40% of their most senior low level staff, eliminated their generous retirement plan, cut employee benefits, & raised prices on their highest volume products."

Which service you recommend then. Aren't all of them same?

I have an Amex Gold card that gives $10 a month credit for GH.

Not everyone's circumstances are the same as yours. My favorite pizza place doesn't have a surcharge to order through GH. This free GH+ also gives 5% back if you pick up which I prefer to do since most places I order from are less than a mile away. So that pays for my gas to pick up.
Yep. Strangely enough a restaurant I wanted to order from last weekend had shut off orders via their own website. I was able to use GH to place my pickup order and got 5% back as well. Win-win.

Everything is marked up 30%. It's better to just phone in a take out order.

I've only used it once when they had a 40% off coupon and even then, I was paying a lot more than if I just drove to the store and picked it up. Never saw another coupon. OTOH, Uber Eats regularly sends me 40% off coupons.

Truly worthless Prime perk.

You shouldn't be using this service if you tip cheap like that. Don't use the excuse of "they added other fees on" either. If the driver gave you good service and your food was on time, you need to tip better than that. Read the first line again.
If this is similar to the area I'm in (Seattle), there is a built in fee given to the driver ($5 for Seattle), so any tip is just gravy.

You're bragging that you gave a less than 4% tip, and then complaining that they're being cheap?!? ROFL!
Karma's coming...

Grubhub is significantly more expensive than normal restaurant pricing. Same pizza place down the street charges way less using Slice or just ordering direct through pizza place. I never order delivery also due to heavy fees added on by grubhub
