Joke all you want, hot food on plastic plates will only put more plastic in the person's body. But you do you. 😉
I do not chew on my phone case made out of plastic...

Looking to upgrade to something more elegant and classy (vs our plastic crappy dishes). However I see that this is made with "bone china" which apparently is very light. My only concern is that it's also going to be delicate and break easily. As we have 2 boys (10 and 7) who can be rough with everything. Would this be a good idea or wait till the boys are older before investing in nice fancy china dishes?

Wait until the boys move out, then you can have nice things (my kids are 13 and 9 and it's still a disaster).

Bone China is able to be made that thin because it's actually stronger than regular ceramic because of the addition of bone dust.

I don't think they're eating the plates. Unless you mean just coming into contact with it is bad for you. Hopefully you didn't type that comment on a phone with a plastic case on it 😉

These always look small/tiny. Then when you get them, they look small for serving babies meals Wink

These look amazingly like some that Macy's sold( and perhaps still do) under their Hotel Collection private label brand
