FYI - The ads for most movies are not that bad. They usually frontload a few minutes of ads and then play the entire movie. Not so for TV shows, the amount of ads is unbearable, I never watch TV shows on Peacock.

Premium is a hilarious description for this garbage level. They want to have their cake and eat it too. I ain't paying a penny if I have to endure ads.

Love reading these threads though, hilarious watching people try and justify paying for something that will still pollute you with ads on every watching. So glad I have a couple cabinets full of DVDs and BluRays plus a good library system in my town. Best slick deal is to walk away from a bad offer.

Correct for movies and for TV shows. I had a year free of Peacock Premium from Xfinity. That was over a year ago. Anyways, NBC owned, NBC has sh*t shows anyways. To me not worth getting at all.

I know we're all on SD cause we're cheap. But man for less than 2 bucks a month people are screaming that there's no value here. Cheap sobs. Are there better services...better deals. Sure. But to say this has no value at 20 per year is just stupid. And for those who say not watching any commercials if I pay!!! Are missing the point. This is halfway between you paying full price or watching full commercials. For many, a good tradeoff. Commercials in movies are truly minimal. Some good programming in there, if not a ton. Twisted metal is worth it alone...

Verizon is trying to scam people lmao they are trolling hard with this. Peacock offers this exact same deal to anybody direct from them. Also this subscription includes ads which defeats the purpose of ad free streaming, which is why we all wanted streaming services to begin with. Big cable still winning the battle with ads even in 2024.
