This item has been on SD front page twice in 2022. So posting for those who have it purchased to talk to customer support to get a refund.

Spotify announced a while back that they are ending support for their discontinued Car Thing product and apparently due to a pending class action law suit (unverified) are issuing refunds for the original purchase since they are essentially bricking the device. I bought 5 back when they clearanced them out for $27 a piece (LINK) and was able to chat with customer support today, provided the requested information (order number, name, shipping address, email, and receipt/email from order) and got a full refund for the order. Get on it!
