Sent me the wrong size. Still had to pay $7, they wouldn't budge. Will never order from them again.

Agree'd - Purchase with a credit card and then have your credit card company deny the charge since they didn't send right product or sent faulty product.

I'm interested in a waterproof shoe; I see this one for about $10 more (Men's Redmond™ Mid Waterproof Shoe); anyone have experience with it?

Redmonds are called wide, but their general mold is quite tight. I'd go atleast a size up. Also, these don't have thick soles; you'll feel the ground which could be good or bad depending on what you're looking for.

Seems to be a good deal. However for Men's wide shoes, the only remaining size is 13. Everything else is out of stock!

I bought these for the 'wide' specifically. I bought my regular size, just wide. I like them and they are wider than others this style. I have trouble with what seems like no ankle support. I can walk all day in my Merrill's without issue. These, however, I have to be very careful not to twist my ankle on a stone or slight dip in the path or surface, or worse, step too close to the edge of a curb. And absolutely you can feel every pebble. I added some thin padding that made a huge difference but did not help my support. JMO (observation)

In my sizes for men, they are now $100. So should not be front page anymore.

These shoes are amazing. Feel the cooling breeze on my feet, no sweating, like in flip flops. Sole cushion absorbs all the impacts, for older person with foot pains, it's like walking on cloud.

Redmond Hiking Shoe - I've been wearing Columbia hiking shoes/boots for a long time. I wear a 16 Wide and this is the first pair I've gotten that is not comfortable. They seemed ok at first but after a few wears I reliazed they are not wide enough and I had already gotten them all dirty. I did a chat with Columbia support and at the end they just said thanks for your comments, we'll pass it on. I guess I thought they would ask me to return them or give me a coupon or something. These are not marked waterproof and wearing them in wet grass my socks got wet. I've had other shoes that kept my feet dry in wet grass and weren't waterproof.

I agree, these are wide, but not wide enough compared to other brands. Also, if length is fine for someone but not the width, then I would never recommend going half size larger. Going even a half size larger affects the whole fitting of any shoes. If the shoe doesn't fit well, then just move on the next model/brand.
