"used every day for a few minutes a day outside" 400 nits of brightness isn't great for reading around the pool, imho
Really? The difference between 250 nits on low-end screens and 400 nits is vast. I don't have a problem outside on my Acer Predator Neo with a 400-nit matte screen.
Great price if this comes in pristine condition with warranty.
Received mine yesterday. The condition was (fortunately) good. The laptop itself came in a small square box (not a laptop shaped box). Inside the box, the charger and cord were completely loose. There was no packing material. The laptop itself is somewhat protected by a cardboard holder that you fold the ends and the plastic stretches across the top. There was a slit down the middle, so I consider myself lucky the loose charger didn't mar the laptop.
A little disappointed by the lack of proper packing. BUT, it looks perfect and works perfect.
Very nice specs, Work bought me a lame dell inspiron for around $600 , screen is 2k 250 nits and I'm ok with it. This being a cool 150 nits brighter will sure look different, and my dell is 15 in instead of 14, so I think this should look great for college coders, finance folks or anyone not doing anything intensive. But even then I think this laptop can handle intensive work just fine, you just gotta wait more, more heat and make sure to plug it in.

Could you do us a big favor and see if it is pre-wired to accept a 5G WWAN card?
You should be able to tell based on:
1. SIMcard slot
2. Orange and blue wire leads showing if you remove the bottom cover of the laptop
I bought one as well. Should be here next Tuesday plan on using it for heavy software development. Hoping this thing can run visual studio and 30 tabs at the same time.
