I was also able to apply the coupon to a single item purchase. Got two placing two separate one time purchase orders. Thanks OP!
That is awesome! I purchased one and didn't think to check to see if i could purchase another because usually the coupons only allow one purchase. It looks like it will let me use multiple times! yay! $2.08 w/ the extra Subscribe & Save

I was actually able to do it 4x and it looks like it will work more than that fwiw. Sometimes next to one time purchase it says (via Android app) Save an extra 30% on your first S&S order but at the top of the screen it says Apply 30% coupon with an Add to Cart button, so between that and the regular method I was able to make four separate purchases with the discount. The Apply 30% coupon button is still showing so it looks like it's possible to purchase more but I'm good for now.
Isn't this the one costco sells as a 6 pack? I can't remember what the price is instore.
Costco only sells this once in awhile and it's not currently available at our warehouse. We bought a lot of this at Grocery Outlet over the past few months for $1.99 each; still have a bunch sitting around.

People in this country waste so much food because they don't want to eat foods past the "best by" date. According to USDA, most shelf-stable foods are safe to eat indefinitely as long as cans aren't damaged or bulging. Frozen foods are also safe to eat as long as they've been kept frozen since bacteria don't grow in the freezer. Sure, you don't want to eat crackers or cereal that are long expired since they will taste stale, but they are perfectly fine for many months past the "best by" date. Grocery Outlet sometimes has fantastic deals on items that are near or past expiration; I just make sure to eat them soon after purchase.
