I have a similar Shimano combo that I've been using for two years now and it is holding up and performing quite well. The Sienna is not a bad combo at this price and should work well for most freshwater species like trout, bass, panfish and such. If you are new to fishing, watch a youtube video or two on how to clean and lube your reel once a season to protect your investment. And take a kid fishing!
