Best option is to keep a copy of the install file on an external drive or in a cloud storage. (the file size is between 1 & 2 GB)
I don't think the install file helps. What happens is that you will be asked to put in another key after you run the install file. It's also easy to find download links for Office install file. Anyone can install Office even without a key. It just won't work without an account linked to Office or a valid key.

I have purchased keys about 10 keys from them over several years. A few of them gave me an error message, but their customer service was very fast to send me another key that worked.
