I had to buy one for Settlers of Catan. We used to spend a lot of time retrieving dice from the floor 😑

There's always one player at the table who doesn't really shake the dice, but kind of flips them over once and you aren't sure if they are cheating or not, lol. This eliminates all of that. Plus, I don't own purple dice yet.

This and a free pdf of the basic rules [wizards.com] and you are ready for adventure.

You guys got me cracking up, but Paladins "arnt sure if they are cheating or not" really got me rolling, laugh out loud.

For $5 its not bad splurge, unfortunately for me no-one plays my Mechwarrior Heroclix game anymore so no use for me.

I feel like an empty toilet paper roll mostly solves this problem, but it's $5, and in my experience, kids go nuts for sparkly dice.

Games like Catan do benefit from a dice tower or at least a dice tray. Prevents knocking pieces all over the board. It's nice for the hobby when you get a cute one.
Also pretty neat for secret santa, or prizes, if your game group does things like that.

Really? For every board game, we always just took the top of the box, flipped it over and used that. The 4 walls keep the dice inside nicely.

Is dark knight still a thing? I bought a crap load of those when the game first launched

Im sure some people still play the DC/Marvel HeroClix somewhere, but as most things popularity dies down over time.

Even though noone plays the mechwarrior/battletech version anymore, I still like to jump on ebay and buy a random lot here or there to add to my collection, in hopes there is a rebirth of enthusiasm in the future.

I like rolling my own dice, but decided to pick this thing up when it was at around $6 a few months ago. Turns out a couple of my (d&d) players really liked using it though! Comes with a pretty nice looking set of dice as well!
