I have this. be warned that their servers go down too regularly.. like every couple months. You wont be able to open or close your garage with the app. Super annoying.

I've had this for a couple years. Never experienced that once. And even if I did, I have 2 other push button remotes. So I don't know.

Does this hook where the wires on the back of the garage door opener, where your wall controller wires hook, or is it dependent on existing remotes working? Need something as my controller board got fried w/a backyard lightning strike (APC UPS's saved everything else, but this wasn't on one). Looking for an option to use it again, as the controller is too pricey...

agreed i've had my smart garage door for at least a year and also never experienced an issue.

I will say though that the app will sign you out intermittently and also after most software updates, so you do have to sign back in regularly. non-issue IMO.
