Thanks for the tip about the script. I used to have a BJs membership, but the coupons were really annoying.

For reference, this script clips all the coupons available on your account, so they'll automatically apply when you check out.

BJ's plays the annoying coupon game with different expiration dates in the same book, on the same page. I always had to have the paper ones with me because the app didn't would miss coupons regularly. One time it missed 3 coupons in one order. They were clipped in the app. yet the three paper ones worked just fine. Costco and Sam's does not play games with coupons.

New account with new email. Basically did myemail+bjs24@gmail for my new account. Household member you can just update the membership number in their account

So, utilizing the gmail alias method, you will be treated as a new customer/member? Entering the same name, address, and phone number will still treat you new customer?

Yes. Been doing this for a while. They seem to only care about the email address being unique. On my Android phone, I use the wallet app and make a BJs card (add loyalty card -> search for bj's with the apostrophe) with the updated id. (Easier than using the BJs app).

I bought a Bjs membership for the protein deal a few months ago, and I will be keeping it. It's a lot less busy than Sam's Club around here and Costco is a little bit of a drive and pretty busy as well. Boneless chicken thighs at Bjs are like 1.99/lb compared to my local grocery store @ 3.99/lb, so that alone makes the membership worth it for me. Also - they usually have decent coupons. I use a tampermonkey script and have it clip all the coupons before I go there.

Store said the physical card is useful only for the gas, otherwise you can use bjs app from the phone.
