I would really want to pull the trigger since I'm building a gaming rig this summer.
1. Is it worth buying it right now or should I still wait for any Intel CPU deals suchs as Intel Core I9-13900K? 2. Is the bundle with motherboard good deal? Also, can any one recommend me any good motherboard to go with the AMD please?
I would like make it future proof for at least 5 years. Thanks so much in advance! π

$350 isn't the cheapest price for this CPU, I got it a month ago for $330 from the same company. Buy any B650E motherboard you like on Amazon used, they often sell brand new stuff for half the price that was returned once. Just make sure that the MB you're buying has good reviews and doesn't have coil whine. Then make sure you get the AMD EXPO 6000MHz CL30 ram. Alternatively you can wait for Ryzen 9000 to release in 3-4 month, but it'll cost MSRP at the beginning (~$600). I personally avoid Intel CPUs since they still use 10nm tech process and run very hot.

I'd wait until next gen graphics cards come out. If you have a card to get you by then this is a good deal. Asus makes good and motherboards. And these processors run gddr5 ram so you'll use that mobo for a long time. And is good about not putting out a different socket every year.
Asus makes bad products now, also gddr is used in graphics cards while ddr is used in motherboards.

This would be future proof for 5 years, but next gen is releasing in next couple month. 3d models won't launch until next year but rumors sounds it will worth the wait. Graphics card won't come out till later this year(probably 5090 only and next year for 80 and 70) and amd is not dropping high-end card for this generation. If you want to build this summer, I'd get 9800x or 9950x and some used graphics card to use for a while and just switch the graphics out.

Thanks so much again for your feedback and suggestions. I was kindda inclining on Nvidia GTX 4070 for GPU rather than AMD gpus. Do you think it's better to have a homogeneous setup such as an AMD GPU rather than a Nvidia ? And did you mean Intel i7 9800X processor?

Thanks so much for the feedback and yeah you are definitely right! Used MOBO are cheaper on Amazon!! Thank you againππ

Not a video game on this planet that this monster of a gaming CPU can't decimate. And I suspect it'll be another 5 years until it starts feeling sluggish in future titled games.
By official AMD numbers released this week, for upcoming 9*** series releasing in July, IPC improvement is roughly 16% over 7***. And let's be honest, that may be even inflated for marketing purposes.
Not worth paying 75% more for only a fraction of the performance boost that comes with it.Even moreso, this is an X3D chip which should boast similar to even higher frame rates than the non X3D 9*** variants that are coming soon.
Id recommend waiting a bit further if you're eyeballing this CPU. Once 9*** hits, these should drop to under $300 periodically until fully wiped out of stock.

Zotac often sells open box cards, I got 4070 ti for $545 with 2 years of warranty by making an offer, they are currently selling 4080 that you can get for ~$800 and will be selling 4070 ti again soon. https://www.ebay.com/str/zotacusa
I've read a lot of good things about the 7900X3D, and $350 is a pretty good price. Once the new AMD 9*** chips come out this will probably be in the $275-$300 range.

The 7800x3d performs better in the majority of games than this while being slightly cheaper. Zen 5 was just announced today, so I'd wait for those to release.
AM5 is very upgradable, so whatever chip you buy on it will be "future proof" as you will have many upgrade options for years.

I've read nothing but bad things about the 7900x3d. Only half the cores can use the x3d cache so it performs worse than the 7800x3d by a good amount in the majority of games. Don't expect major price drops for zen 4 until zen 5 has been out for quite awhile

This has been my take away as well from reviews/discussion on this processor. I also didn't like the idea that utilizing the x3d half of the chip required the xbox game bar to work correctly.
