Yamaha's have a great rep; but I'd look for the next sale on the Monoprice acoustic. Around $80 for the non-electric acoustic. But I recommend the acoustic-electric for around $100 or less on sale, shipped. The solid and not just Spruce top matters. They "gots" the VOLUME! And the bass to treble most excellent tone IMHO. And mine is absolutely flawless fancy in finish. It's a steal (legally).

And no I do NOT recommend Monoprice for many of it's other items; where the better deals are not at Monoprice. They are reputable and rewarded me kindly for things like rare FEDEX shipping damage. I will say they are trust worthy and have GOOD character; which is rare.

They did not eat it and extend a warranty that had long expired BTW; but did at least offer to help in minor ways and discounts.
